Crypto is climbing back up after the “crash” this past May. The last big run brought a lot of new people to the crypto trading (and HODLing) scene. Are we seeing the beginning of the next big leg up? With Ethereum flirting with $4,000 level, it’s possible but only time will tell.
There are a number of ways to get into crypto but for newcomers, it’s not easy to know how to start trading crypto or which platform to use. If you’re interested in using WeBull to trade crypto, you’ve come to the right place. For existing user of the WeBull trading platform, there is an additional step you need to take in order to gain access the crypto market.
WeBull has just launched the trading of SHIB coin on its platform!
WeBull currently supports the trading of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Zcash (ZEC), Stella Lumens (XLM), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Cardano (ADA), Dash (DASH), and Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB). If you want to trade another type of crypto you’ll have to look elsewhere for now.
How to Apply for Crypto Trading on the WeBull Mobile App
You first need to have an account through WeBull. If you do not, you can sign up here. You’ll get two free stocks for opening and funding a new account. If you already have an account, you need to tap the WeBull Icon in the bottom middle of your screen on the mobile app. This will bring you to your account overview. If you have more than one account, you should select your non-IRA account. Then, tap the Details button as seen below. Then you will need to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to the Account Access menu. Then, tap Trading Access to get to the page that will allow you to choose access to other trading features. This is the also where you can apply for options trading if that interests you.

Tap Crypto Trading to get to the screen that will allow you to enroll in crypto trading. Once you are successfully approved and enrolled, you’ll see the white screen pictured below.

You shouldn’t have to wait too long to be approved. It was very quick when I signed up for access to crypto trading on my Webull account. Before you place your first trade on Webull, make sure you are familiar with the platform and pay attention to the spread between the bid and ask. The number displayed is the average of the bid and ask and you will not filled at the amount. Trading crypto in your Webull margin account will not use a day trade if you are under PDT but you do need to pay attention to your Crypto Buying Power to see how much you can trade at any given time. While you normally don’t have to worry about settled funds in a margin account, you do have to have settled funds for crypto trading in your Webull margin account.
Happy Trading!
