Ideal for whole-class content review broken down by period. Getting answers within the correct time period is a common struggle for students. Have some fun reviewing and reinforcing what happened when. These are always a winner!

This isn’t your typical 50-page monster review packet. I’ve designed this to be a manageable but targeted review that covers all 9 units and touches on the most important information and skills. Assign it 9 days before the exam to cover a unit per day.

Getting out of the “drill and kill” mindset can be tough in AP World, but that’s exactly what this scavenger hunt is designed to do. Students have to read the MCQ then hunt for the stimulus that supports it and leads them to the correct answer. I’ve heard from students that this really helps with MCQ confidence!

This is the ultimate review tool in terms of student engagement. Each Google Sheet activity requires students to answer specific content recall questions. Each correct answer reveals a piece of a mystery stimulus. Once all recall questions are correctly answered, students use the uncovered stimulus to practice either MCQs or HIPPO sourcing.

We know the DBQ and LEQ absolutely must have a solid thesis statement. You can really never do enough instruction on thesis writing. Walk students through the process step-by-step, give them examples, and have them practice. You just can’t go wrong with some extra review and practice with thesis statements!
